Biography

Ma Gang, Associate Chief Physician, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. From 2013 to 2014, he was a visiting scholar at the Beckman Laser Institute, University of California, Irvine, and at the Hemangioma Center and Vascular Biology Laboratory, Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. His practice includes combined laser and surgical treatment of various superficial tumors and birthmarks, oculoplastic surgery, non-surgical facial rejuvenation (light, ultrasound, and electrical treatments; injection therapy), laser treatment and surgery for pigmented nevi and melanoma, and non-surgical treatment of port-wine stains (laser and photodynamic therapy). He currently serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Hemangioma and Vascular Malformation Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic, a Standing Committee Member of the Laser Aesthetic Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic, a Member of the Dermatology Rehabilitation Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, and a Medical Expert Advisor for the China Children and Teenagers' Charity Foundation.
